Rattail is one of the oldest patterns dating back to the 1650’s. The name comes from the unique rib down the back of the spoon. This unique detail was kept from the original Roman design, where a tongue of metal was used to join the bowl to the handle. Similar to Old English, it has a ridge in the centre to give definition.
The ever popular Rattail design is crafted from highly polished Stainless Steel, it's simple good looks make it the ideal partner to both traditional and contemporary tableware.
