Edenware® is a new range of renewable and compostable food packaging developed by Go-Pak UK Ltd and is the latest addition to our cup offering. The cups are fully compostable and lined with plant-based Polylactic Acid (PLA), made from certified biodegradable raw materials.
Unlike conventional packaging, which is produced using oil—a finite resource—Edenware® is designed with sustainability in mind. The products can be disposed of through a closed-loop food waste stream and have a low carbon footprint thanks to their plant-based origins, which absorb carbon during growth. As a result, the packaging is carbon-neutral even if incinerated.
Diverting food and packaging waste from landfill helps prevent methane emissions, and since packaging contaminated with food cannot usually be recycled, compostable packaging provides an effective alternative.
All Edenware® packaging is made from high-quality, food-grade paperboard and is both recycled and recyclable.
